Soil: Gravelly clay-limestone similar to those found in the Côte de Nuits

Elevation: 280 meters

Exposure: South

Vinification: After harvest, grapes are de-stemmed followed by a fermentation and maceration period of 18 to 21 days (gentle punchdowns).

Maturation: 18 months on Allier barrels (20% new oak) then moved back to stainless steel for 2 months prior to bottling, usually unfiltered.

Maturation: 12 months in Allier barrels (10% new) then moved back to stainless steel for 3 months prior to bottling, usually unfiltered.
