Vineyard Area: "Le Grotinne" is drawn from two separate vineyards. Both were planted in 1986.

Soil: The soil contains sand, silt and clay with limestone, and it has a mineral skeleton formed by conglomerates known as Bolgheri Conglomerates.

Vine Training Method: Horizontal spurred cordon with arched canes

Vinification: Manually harvested, directly-pressed and fermented with indigenous yeast.

Maturation: Minimum 5 months in stainless steel vats

Varietal/Blend: 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc

Vineyard Area: The wine is drawn entirely from the Felciaino vineyard which was planted in 1986 and 2001.

Soil: The soil contains sand, silt and clay with limestone, and it has a mineral skeleton formed by conglomerates.

Vine Training Method: Horizontal spurred cordon with arched canes

Vinification: Each variety is harvested by hand, starting with Merlot, followed by Sangiovese one to two weeks later. Cabernet Sauvignon is harvested last. Each variety is vinifed separately and native-yeast fermented in stainless steel vats. After fermentation, the wines are moved to French oak barrels.

Maturation: Minimum 12 months in used French oak barrels before final blending.

Vineyard Area: Grapes destined for Guado de'Gemoli are drawn from two separate sites, including the oldest vineyard on the property (planted in 1978).

Soil: This soil consists of iron and magnesium-rich marine sand which lends elegance and delicateness in the wines.

Vinification: Harvested by hand and fermented in stainless steel with indigenous yeast.

Maturation: Minimum 18 months in French oak, costing of 15% new barrels and the remaining in two- and three-year old barrels.
