Vineyard Area: From estate vines in village of Lansac on Bordeaux's Right Bank in the Côtes du Bourg — vines are an average age of 35 years.

Soil: Red and brown clay and graves (white quartz)

Elevation: 80 feet

Exposure: South-southwest

Farming Practice: Lutte raisonnée with de-budding and crop-thinning

Vinification: Grapes are harvested by hand, sorted and de-stemmed. After a gentle crush, they are placed in temperature-controlled concrete vats where pump-overs are performed during a 3-week maceration. After running off of the juice, malolactic fermentation is carried and finally the wine is racked to French oak barrels.

Maturation: 14 months in one and two-year old French oak barrels
